She grew up in a small town on the edge of the San Juan Mountain Range on the Western Slope of Colorado. She spent the majority of her time outside, reading novels, making jewelry, participating in choir and playing the piano. When she graduated high school, she packed up her things and moved to the Front Range. She then received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2012. She graduated with a double bachelors in Religious Studies and Poetry with an emphasis in Women's Studies. Not too long after her time at CU, she went to Paralegal School to receive her Paralegal Certificate from the Community College of Denver. She now spends her weekends hanging out with her cat, hiking in the mountains and climbing 14ers.
